Ernesto Arancibia was an Argentine film director, producer, and screenwriter. He was born on 12 January 1904 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was the son of a Spanish immigrant and a native Argentine. Arancibia began his career in the film industry in the early 1930s, working as an assistant director and editor. He directed his first feature film, El último beso (The Last Kiss), in 1934. He went on to direct a number of other films, including El hombre de la esquina rosada (The Man from the Pink Corner, 1936), La vida es un tango (Life is a Tango, 1937), and El ángel desnudo (The Naked Angel, 1939). In the 1940s, Arancibia began producing films, and in the 1950s he began writing screenplays. He wrote the screenplay for the classic Argentine film El último round (The Last Round, 1956), which was directed by Leopoldo Torre Nilsson. Arancibia's last film was El último beso (The Last Kiss, 1964). He died in Buenos Aires in 1965. Ernesto Arancibia's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
