Enrico Casarosa is an Italian-American animator, story artist, and director. He is best known for his work on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, La Luna, which he directed and co-wrote. He has also worked on several other Pixar films, including Ratatouille, Up, and Coco. Casarosa was born in Genoa, Italy, and moved to the United States when he was 18. He attended the California Institute of the Arts, where he earned a BFA in Character Animation. After graduating, he worked as a story artist on several animated films, including The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, and Ratatouille. In 2011, Casarosa directed and co-wrote the short film La Luna, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. He also directed the short film Sanjay's Super Team, which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2016. Casarosa is currently working as a story artist on the upcoming Pixar film Luca.
