Enemri Najem Al-Marghani is a Libyan politician who served as the Prime Minister of Libya from 2012 to 2014. He was born in 1955 in the city of Benghazi, Libya. Al-Marghani studied at the University of Benghazi, where he earned a degree in economics. He then went on to pursue a master's degree in economics from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. Al-Marghani began his political career in the 1980s, when he was appointed as the Minister of Economy and Trade in the government of Prime Minister Abdessalam Jalloud. He then served as the Minister of Finance from 1988 to 1990. In 2012, Al-Marghani was appointed as the Prime Minister of Libya by the National Transitional Council. He served in this position until 2014, when he was replaced by Abdullah al-Thinni. Al-Marghani is currently the chairman of the Libyan Investment Authority, a position he has held since 2015.
