Eduardo Marturet is a Venezuelan composer, conductor, and music producer. He is best known for his work in film and television, having composed the music for over 50 films and television series. He has also composed music for the stage, including the musicals "La Leyenda de la Llorona" and "La Leyenda de la Virgen de la Candelaria". Marturet has won numerous awards for his work, including the Latin Grammy Award for Best Classical Album in 2009 for his album "Música de Cine". He has also been nominated for the Latin Grammy Award for Best Classical Contemporary Composition in 2011 for his work on the album "Música de Cine II". Marturet is the founder and artistic director of the Caracas Philharmonic Orchestra, and is the president of the Venezuelan Association of Composers and Authors of Music. He is also a professor at the Simón Bolívar University in Caracas.
