Between 1973 and 1980, Moraes did not act in any plays and dedicated herself to transferring the 'FBT' to Brasilia, where she inaugurated the 'Dulcina Theater' On April 21, 1980.

1955

In 1955, Dulcina launched the project 'Fundação Brasileira de Teatro' (FBT) to train actors, first established in a Rio de Janeiro theater that today bears her name.

In 1934, together with her husband, actor, and entrepreneur Odilon Azevedo, she would create the 'Dulcina-Odilon Theatrical Company', bringing to Brazilian stages the works of Federico García Lorca, Gabriele D'Annunzio, and George Bernard Shaw, to name a few.

Two of her most successful plays were Oduvaldo Vianna's "Amor" (1933) and John Colton's 'Rain' (1922), which she directed and played "Sadie Thompson" in 1945, and that would be reenacted over the next 15 years.
