Donnie Allison is an American former race car driver and the older brother of NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Allison. He is best known for his career in NASCAR, where he won 10 races and finished in the top 10 in points five times. He also competed in the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Daytona. Donnie Allison was born on September 7, 1939 in Miami, Florida. He began racing in the late 1950s, competing in local events in Florida. He made his NASCAR debut in 1964, driving for the Holman-Moody team. He won his first race in 1967 at the Riverside International Raceway. In 1972, Donnie and Bobby Allison formed the Allison Brothers Racing team. The team won 10 races and finished in the top 10 in points five times. Donnie also competed in the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Daytona. In 1988, Donnie retired from racing and became a NASCAR broadcaster. He currently works as a consultant for the NASCAR Hall of Fame. As of 2021, Donnie Allison's net worth is estimated to be roughly $2 million.
