Dennis Ferrera is a retired Honduran football midfielder who was born on 3 December, 1980 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. He began his career in the Honduran league with Real España in 1998 and went on to play for several other clubs in the country, including Olimpia, Marathón, and Platense. He also had a brief stint in the Mexican league with Club Necaxa. Ferrera was part of the Honduran national team from 2001 to 2007, making a total of 24 appearances and scoring one goal. He was part of the squad that participated in the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan and South Korea. Ferrera retired from professional football in 2011 and is currently working as a coach in the Honduran league. He is married and has two children.

Before the start of the 2009 Clausura, he left them for Platense but his contract was soon cancelled after revealing that he had used a banned substance. The result of the test that was carried out however turned out to be negative but his contract was not reinstated.


His final international was a February 2007 UNCAF Nations Cup match against Panama.
