David Tomassoni is an American politician who has served in the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2003. He is a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. Tomassoni was born in Bemidji, Minnesota, and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1971. He attended Bemidji State University and graduated with a degree in business administration in 1975. Tomassoni was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2002 and has been re-elected every two years since then. He currently serves as the chair of the House Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee. He also serves on the House Capital Investment Committee, the House Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division, and the House Rules and Legislative Administration Committee. Tomassoni is married to his wife, Mary, and they have two children. He is 68 years old and has an estimated net worth of $1 million.

David Joseph "Dave" Tomassoni (born December 5, 1952) is a Minnesota politician and member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he represents District 6, which includes portions of Itasca and St. Louis counties in the northeastern part of the state. He chaired the Senate Economic Development Committee from 2007-2010. He currently chairs the Environment, Economic Development and Agriculture Finance Division. He is also Co-Chair of the LCCMR and has chaired the IRRRB four different times. He is also vice chair of the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission.
