David Greenwood is an American former professional basketball player. He was born on May 27, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Proviso East High School in Maywood, Illinois, and then went on to play college basketball at the University of Wyoming. Greenwood was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the 1979 NBA Draft. He played for the Lakers for four seasons, and then for the San Antonio Spurs for two seasons. He retired from the NBA in 1985. Greenwood was a two-time All-Star, and was named to the All-NBA Second Team in 1983. He was also a member of the gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic basketball team in 1984. Greenwood is currently 66 years old. He stands 6 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. Greenwood is currently married to his wife, Lisa. The couple has two children together. As of 2021, David Greenwood's net worth is estimated to be roughly $2 million.
