Damien Fahey is an American television host, comedian, and screenwriter. He is best known for his work as a VJ on MTV's Total Request Live (TRL) from 2003 to 2007. He also hosted the MTV game show Remote Control from 2007 to 2008. Fahey was born on June 1, 1980 in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. He attended the University of New Hampshire, where he studied English and journalism. Fahey began his career as a writer for the MTV game show Remote Control in 2002. He was then hired as a VJ for Total Request Live in 2003, where he remained until 2007. He also hosted the MTV game show Remote Control from 2007 to 2008. In addition to his work on television, Fahey has written for the television series The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In 2002, he replaced Carson Daly as the host of MTV's Total Request Live after Daly left the network to host his own late-night show on NBC. Fahey was a guest host for CBS's The Late, Late Show in 2004 when Craig Kilborn abruptly exited and was believed to be one of the 4 finalists for the permanent role.
