Christopher Martin-Jenkins was an English cricket journalist, broadcaster and author. He was educated at Marlborough College and Pembroke College, Cambridge, and was a member of the Marylebone Cricket Club. He was a cricket correspondent for The Times and The Daily Telegraph, and a commentator for BBC Radio 4's Test Match Special. He was also a regular contributor to the BBC's cricket coverage on television. Martin-Jenkins was a prolific author, writing several books on cricket, including biographies of W.G. Grace, Jack Hobbs, and Len Hutton. He was also the editor of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack from 1991 to 1998. Martin-Jenkins was awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List in June 2006. He died on 1 January 2013, aged 67.
