In 2006 Chelsea decided to pursue her other love of film and television.
In early 2005 Chelsea Gilmore moved to Los Angeles to work in the Music Marketing department at the William Morris Agency. Chelsea was then offered a Director of A&R position with Dr. Dre at his Aftermath Record Label (Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game, Busta Rhymes, Eve, Marsha Ambrosius, and Camila Grey of "Uh Huh Her").
Gilmore's company SuperGirl Entertainment INC, consulted closely with Andy Hilfiger on target -marketing strategies for the 2003 spring-line of Jennifer Lopez's SweetFace Fashions/J. Lo Clothing. Moving on from Sony Music, Chelsea worked with Jamaal "Shyne" Barrow to build Gangland Record Label at Def Jam/Universal.
Chelsea then took a position in the Marketing department at Sony Music Entertainment in 2002. There, she worked on the projects of artist such as Beyoncé Knowles "Dangerously in Love", Kelly Rowland "Simply Deep", John Meyer "Heavier Things", Nas, Dead Prez, Jagged Edge, Xhibit, Amerie and Lyfe Jennings. While at Bad Boy, Chelsea earned the moniker "Super Girl" it stuck, and then became the name of her consulting company in early 2001.
In the summer of 1998, Chelsea started her career in the music industry interning at Sean "Puffy" Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment Record Label. Within two months she became the assistant to Harve Pierre Sr. VP of Artist & Repertoire. Over the next year, Chelsea began representing her own roster of Artist and producing music interludes. Working closely with Sean Combs and a host of other superstar personalities (Sean Carter "Jay Z", Faith Evans, Total, Twista, Lil Kim, 50 Cent, Shyne, Black Rob, Carl Thomas, Jennifer Lopez, Busta Ryhmes, Missy Elliot, Mario Winans, Pharrell Williams(N*E*R*D), Laurie Ann Gibson, Method Man & Redman.
Upon graduating from Hampton University in 1997 with Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing, Chelsea Marie Gilmore wanted a career in the Entertainment Industry. Moving to New York City, Chelsea took a summer production assistant position with Vh1/MTV. She ran the backstage and celebrity press rooms of the original "Divas Live Concert" at New York's' Beacon Theater.
