Cap Raeder is a retired American ice hockey player and coach. He was born on October 8, 1953 in Needham, Massachusetts, United States. He is currently 70 years old. Raeder played college hockey at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he was a two-time All-American. He was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft, but never played in the NHL. Raeder went on to become a successful coach, leading the University of Wisconsin–Madison to the NCAA championship in 1983. He also coached the United States men's national team at the 1984 Winter Olympics, and the United States men's national team at the 1986 World Championships. Raeder is currently the head coach of the University of Wisconsin–Madison women's ice hockey team. He has been inducted into the Wisconsin Hockey Hall of Fame and the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. As of 2021, Cap Raeder's net worth is estimated to be roughly $1 million.
