Brian McBride is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was born on 15 October 1955 in Glasgow, Scotland. He began his career with Motherwell in 1974, and went on to play for Preston North End, Everton, Fulham, and the Columbus Crew. He was capped 51 times for Scotland, scoring 20 goals. McBride retired from professional football in 2010, and in 2011 he was appointed Director of Football at Fulham. He is currently the Executive Director of the Major League Soccer Players Union. McBride is married to his wife, Tracey, and they have two children. He is estimated to have a net worth of around $10 million.

He joined Xerox in 1977 and subsequently worked for IBM, Dell, and, from 2003 to 2005, T-Mobile where he was managing director. He was also a non-executive director of the Scottish football club, Celtic F.C. from 2006 to 2010.
