After a several year hiatus in the industry, Rossi appeared on Vivid Radio announcing her return to the adult industry and stated that she would begin her first feature dance tour back into the business by February 2016. On February 1st, 2016 it was announced that she had signed a contract to become the face of Kayden Kross and Stoya's new company TrenchcoatX. Rossi was married to Jonathan Ross (not to be confused with the English television host). Jonathan Ross filed for divorce from Rossi on July 18, 2013, their divorce became finalized as of April 2014. She was also briefly engaged to actor Charlie Sheen.

In 2011 Brett Rossi was Miss Howard Stern TV and was interviewed on Howard Stern's radio show. In that same year, she was also named Cybergirl of the Week at Playboy. In 2012 Brett Rossi was signed by the Adult Film company Twistys and named the February Penthouse Pet.
