Brandon Ellington is an American politician who currently serves as a member of the Missouri House of Representatives. He was born on November 18, 1980 in Kansas City, Kansas. Ellington attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He then went on to earn a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Ellington was first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2012. He currently serves on the House Appropriations Committee, the House Budget Committee, and the House Special Standing Committee on Urban Issues. Ellington is married to his wife, Tia, and they have two children. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
