Ben Hartsock is a former American football tight end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Ohio State. Hartsock was born on July 5, 1980 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He attended Chillicothe High School, where he was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and track. He was a two-time All-Ohio selection in football and was named the Ohio Division II Player of the Year as a senior. Hartsock attended Ohio State University, where he played for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team from 2000 to 2003. He was a two-time All-Big Ten selection and was named the team's Most Valuable Player in 2003. Hartsock was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played for the Colts from 2004 to 2006. He then played for the Tennessee Titans from 2007 to 2008, the Atlanta Falcons from 2009 to 2010, and the New York Jets from 2011 to 2012. Hartsock retired from the NFL in 2013. He currently works as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley in Columbus, Ohio. As of 2021, Ben Hartsock's net worth is estimated to be $2 million.
