Ann Simons is a Belgian judoka who competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She was born on 5 August 1980 in Antwerp, Belgium. Simons began judo at the age of nine and was a member of the Belgian national team from 1998 to 2004. She won a bronze medal at the 2003 European Judo Championships in Tampere, Finland. At the 2004 Summer Olympics, Simons competed in the women's half-middleweight (63 kg) category. She was defeated in the second round by eventual gold medalist Yvonne Boenisch of Germany. Simons retired from judo in 2004 and is now a judo coach. She is married to fellow judoka and Olympic bronze medalist Dirk Van Tichelt. They have two children.
