Amy Yoder Begley is an American middle-distance runner and former Olympian. She was born on 11 January, 1978 in Topeka, IN. She attended Goshen High School in Goshen, Indiana, and graduated in 1996. She then attended the University of Arkansas, where she was a four-time All-American in track and field. In 2004, she qualified for the U.S. Olympic team in the 1500 meters, and competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. She finished in 11th place in the final. In 2006, she won the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 1500 meters, and was the runner-up in the 3000 meters. She also won the bronze medal in the 1500 meters at the 2006 IAAF World Cup. In 2008, she qualified for the U.S. Olympic team in the 1500 meters, and competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. She finished in 10th place in the final. Amy Yoder Begley is currently married to fellow runner and former Olympian, Alan Webb. They have two children together.
