Rob Picciolo is an American former professional baseball player who played for the Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, and Milwaukee Brewers. He was born on February 4, 1953 in Santa Monica, California. Picciolo played college baseball at the University of Southern California and was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the first round of the 1975 Major League Baseball Draft. He made his major league debut with the Athletics in 1977 and played for them until 1982. He then played for the San Diego Padres from 1983 to 1985 and the Milwaukee Brewers from 1986 to 1987. Picciolo was a career .250 hitter with 11 home runs and 166 RBIs in 845 games. He was a member of the Athletics' 1981 World Series championship team. After retiring from baseball, Picciolo became a coach and manager in the minor leagues. He was the manager of the San Bernardino Spirit in the California League in 1988 and 1989. He was the manager of the Las Vegas Stars in the Pacific Coast League from 1990 to 1992. He was the manager of the Tucson Toros in the Pacific Coast League from 1993 to 1995. Picciolo currently serves as a special assistant to the general manager of the Oakland Athletics. As of 2021, Rob Picciolo's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.

Picciolo graduated from Westchester High School in 1971, earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and played one season of baseball in Pepperdine University. He earned All-District honors and helped Pepperdine to first place in the WCC and a spot in the NCAA District Playoffs. Picciolo died on January 3, 2018, aged 64, from undisclosed causes.
