Narisetti was named president of Gizmodo Media Group in September 2016, shortly after the site was acquired by Univision. He served as CEO of Gizmodo Media Group from 2016 until April 2018. According to The Daily Beast, Narisetti was forced out by Univision amid staff cuts at the Gizmodo Media Group.

2012

He joined The Washington Post, and rejoined the Wall Street Journal in 2012. He became the Senior Vice-President, Strategy, for News Corporation where he helped the media group grow new revenue opportunities, particularly in Asia. In 2007, as the founding editor, Narisetti helped launch the Mint – a business newspaper in India belonging to the HT Media Ltd, which is also the publisher of Hindustan Times.

Narisetti holds a B.A. (Economics) from Osmania University (India), an MBA from IRMA (India) and a M.A. degree from the Indiana University (USA). Narisetti started as a journalist at The Economic Times in India, and his U.S. career at The Dayton Daily News. Narisetti joined The Wall Street Journal in 1991, and over time served as the "editor at The Wall Street Journal Europe; Deputy Managing Editor in charge of Europe, Middle East and Africa for the global WSJ; and the Managing Editor, Digital" according to a biography posted on the Columbia Journalism School.
