Born in Baton Rouge, the youngest of four boys, he grew up in the small Suburban town of Flower Mound, Texas. As a 5th grader, he was cast in a local community theatre production that chronicled the history in music of Flower Mound - Sweet Flower Mound Land (which was in fact voted best original work in Texas for America's Bicentennial. ) Pat continued to pursue juvenile roles in community theatre for the remainder of his tweens & teens. While in college, he also worked in local area community and Semi-Professional theaters in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Area and played a variety of roles while working to earn points toward membership in Actors Equity (Stage Actors Union). Majoring in Theatre at NTSU (now UNT) he met his future husband, Stephen Mosher, and together they opted to leave school. Beginning his career alongside fellow Texas cohorts, Brent Anderson, Todd Terry and John S. Davies, Pat took on roles on Stage and in a variety of TV commercials, extra spots and whatever work could be found that would pay. His regional theatre appearances include: Cabaret, Eastern Standard, Twelfth Night and The Mouse Trap. His appearance as an Air force Airman accused of rape on the TV game show/courtroom drama, Guilty or Innocent (1984), marked his first major speaking role on nationally syndicated television.
