Timeline

1976

Although The American Film Index (1976) includes Harry Myers among the players of D.W. Griffith's The Guerrilla (1908) and Her First Biscuits (1909), further research has found no foundation for this information; Motion Picture Magazine (September 1913) confirms that he was never at Biograph, and suggests there may have been some confusion with fellow Lubin player Arthur V. Johnson who did work there. Myers' first work in front of the camera was in 1909 for the Lubin Company in Philadelphia.

During the 1910's and 1920s, Myers worked variously for Lubin, Pathe, Universal, Fox, Vitagraph, Paramount, Warner Brothers, Tiffany-Stahl and Metro.
