Fiona Bruce is a British Conservative politician who has been a Member of Parliament (MP) for Congleton since 2010. She was born on 26 March 1957 in Wick, Scotland. Bruce was educated at the independent St Mary's School, Ascot, and the University of Edinburgh, where she studied law. She worked as a solicitor in the City of London for several years before becoming a television presenter. Bruce has been a presenter on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow since 2008, and has also presented Crimewatch and the BBC's Ten O'Clock News. She was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2019 New Year Honours for services to broadcasting and charity. Bruce is married to Nigel Sharrocks, a former BBC executive, and they have two children. She is a practising Christian and a member of the Conservative Christian Fellowship.

In 2019 Bruce chaired an inquiry for the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission into prostitution, which concluded that replacing the present soliciting laws with laws making paying for sexual services a criminal offence is the most effective way of reducing the size of the prostitution market.
