Esrom Nyandoro is a Zimbabwean professional footballer who currently plays for the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League side Highlanders F.C. He is a versatile player who can play in both midfield and defence. Nyandoro began his career in Zimbabwe with Highlanders F.C. in 2000. He then moved to South Africa to join Mamelodi Sundowns in 2002. He spent two seasons with the club before moving to the United States to join the Charleston Battery in 2004. He spent two seasons with the Battery before returning to Zimbabwe in 2006 to rejoin Highlanders F.C. Nyandoro has also represented Zimbabwe at international level, making his debut in 2002. He has since gone on to make over 50 appearances for the national team. Nyandoro is currently 44 years old. He is approximately 5ft 11in tall and he has a slim build. 2006

In the summer of 2006, Nyandoro joined up with English Premier League club Sheffield United for a trial. This was on the recommendation of Peter Ndlovu who had played for the club. Nyandoro was however not signed.

2004

Nyandoro was then signed by South African club Mamelodi Sundowns in 2004 and was named the PSL Club Rookie of the Year after his debut season.

Nyandoro was a member of the Zimbabwean 2004 African Nations Cup team, who finished bottom of their group in the first round of competition, thus failing to secure qualification for the quarter-finals. He scored a superb goal that was voted as the best goal of the tournament. He also participated at the 2006 African Nations Cup.
