He is best known for his work on the Back to the Future trilogy, Jurassic Park, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. He has also worked on films such as Halloween, The Thing, Apollo 13, and The Rock. Cundey was born in Alhambra, California, and attended the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. He began his career in the 1970s, working on television shows such as The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. Cundey has been nominated for two Academy Awards for his work on Apollo 13 and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. He has also been nominated for three BAFTA Awards and two Emmy Awards.
