Danny Wilson is a former English cricketer who was born on 18 February 1977 in English, England. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He made his first-class debut for Lancashire in 1996 and went on to play for them until his retirement in 2008. Wilson has represented England in two Test matches and three One Day Internationals. He has also played for the England A team and the England Under-19s. Wilson has scored over 10,000 first-class runs and taken over 500 wickets in his career. He has also scored over 1,000 runs in List A cricket and taken over 100 wickets. Wilson is currently the head coach of the Lancashire Second XI. He is also a coach at the Lancashire Cricket Academy.
