She has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including the Mexican telenovela "La Usurpadora" (1998), the Mexican comedy "La Ley de Herodes" (1999), and the Mexican drama "La Leyenda de la Nahuala" (2007). She has also appeared in the American television series "The X-Files" (1993) and "The West Wing" (1999). She is currently retired from acting.

Her husband, Orlando Alfredo Beltran, worked for over 20 years as a staff member for the Philosophical Research Society, founded by Philosopher, Manly Palmer Hall. His published writings include most notably, "Symbolism of Oriental Religious Art". They wed in 1944 and she used her married name when she began her acting career. She was widowed in 1957, when he died unexpectedly from a heart attack at age 51.
