Alex Vega is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her roles in the Spy Kids film series, The Deep End of the Ocean, and Ruby & The Rockits. She has also appeared in other films such as Sleepover, Odd Girl Out, and Walkout.
Vega was born in Miami, Florida, to Baruch Vega, a fashion photographer, and Gina Rue, a model. She has a younger sister, Makenzie Vega, who is also an actress.
Vega began her career at the age of four, when she was cast in a commercial for the toy store Toys "R" Us. She made her film debut in the 1995 film Little Giants. She then went on to appear in several other films, including the Spy Kids trilogy, The Deep End of the Ocean, Sleepover, Odd Girl Out, and Walkout.
In addition to acting, Vega has also pursued a career in music. She released her debut album, "Game Over", in 2006. She has also released several singles, including "Isle of Dreams" and "We're All the Same".
Vega has been married to film producer Sean Covel since 2010. They have one daughter, Kaya Evdokia Covel, born in 2013.

In fall 2015, Vega competed on the 21st season of Dancing with the Stars. Her husband, Carlos PenaVega was also competing that season. She was paired with professional dancer Mark Ballas. On November 9, PenaVega and Ballas were eliminated and finished the competition in 6th place.
In August 2013, Vega became engaged to actor and singer Carlos Pena Jr. The couple married on January 4, 2014 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, both taking PenaVega as their married name. The couple shares a YouTube channel, LexLovesLos. They have two sons: Ocean King and Kingston James, born in December 2016 and June 2019.
