He is best known for his roles in the films The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013), and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014). Bradley was born on 30 September 1981 in Morrinsville, New Zealand. He attended the University of Waikato, where he studied film and television. Bradley began his career in the entertainment industry in 2003, appearing in the television series Shortland Street. He went on to appear in a number of other television series, including Power Rangers: Mystic Force (2006), Go Girls (2009-2010), and The Almighty Johnsons (2011-2012). In 2012, Bradley made his feature film debut in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, playing the role of Dwalin. He reprised the role in the two sequels, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014). In addition to his acting career, Bradley is also a writer and director. He wrote and directed the short film The Last Day (2015), which was nominated for Best Short Film at the New Zealand Film Awards.
