Aleksey Oshurkov is a Russian actor who has appeared in numerous films and television series. He is best known for his roles in the films The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath! (1975), The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed (1979), and The Barber of Siberia (1998). Oshurkov was born in Yaroslavl, Russia, on 19 September 1966. He graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School in 1989 and began his acting career in the theatre. He made his film debut in 1975 in the comedy The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath! and has since appeared in over 50 films and television series. Oshurkov has won numerous awards for his work, including the Nika Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in The Barber of Siberia (1998). He has also been nominated for the Golden Eagle Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed (1979). Oshurkov is married to actress Natalya Kolyakanova and they have two children.
