He also had a brief stint with the French club, FC Nantes. Coulibaly was born in Bamako, Mali, on 10 September 1980. He began his football career at Stade Malien, where he made his professional debut in 1998. He then moved to AS Real Bamako in 2000, where he played for two seasons. In 2002, he joined Djoliba AC, where he spent the next four years. In 2006, Coulibaly signed with French club FC Nantes, but he only made one appearance for the club before returning to Mali. He then rejoined Djoliba AC, where he played until his retirement in 2011. Coulibaly was a member of the Mali national team from 2000 to 2006, making a total of 24 appearances. He also represented his country at the 2002 African Cup of Nations. As of 2021, Adama Coulibaly's net worth is estimated to be roughly $1 million.
