He has also appeared in films such as The Fast and the Furious and The Scorpion King. Popoff was born in Palm Springs, California, on September 19, 1973. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he studied music and theater. Popoff began his career as a musician in the early 1990s, playing in various bands in the Los Angeles area. In 1995, he formed the band Lit with his brother Jeremy Popoff and two other friends. The band released their debut album, Tripping the Light Fantastic, in 1997. The album was a success, spawning the hit single "My Own Worst Enemy". The band went on to release several more albums, including A Place in the Sun (1999) and Atomic (2001). In addition to his work with Lit, Popoff has also appeared in several films, including The Fast and the Furious (2001) and The Scorpion King (2002). He has also composed music for films such as The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) and The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior (2008). As of 2021, A.
