Yuriy Antonov is a Russian singer, composer, and actor. He is best known for his work in the Soviet Union and Russia, where he has released over 20 albums and written over 500 songs. He is also known for his acting roles in films such as The Irony of Fate and The Irony of Fate 2. Yuriy Antonov was born on 19 February 1945 in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union. He studied at the Tashkent State Conservatory and graduated in 1967. He then went on to work as a composer and arranger for the Tashkent Philharmonic Orchestra. In the 1970s, Antonov began to gain recognition as a singer and composer. He released his first album, "Yuriy Antonov and His Songs", in 1975. He went on to release several more albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including "The Best of Yuriy Antonov" (1985), "The Best of Yuriy Antonov 2" (1989), and "The Best of Yuriy Antonov 3" (1995). In addition to his music career, Antonov has also had a successful acting career. He has appeared in several films, including The Irony of Fate (1975), The Irony of Fate 2 (2007), and The Irony of Fate 3 (2009). Yuriy Antonov has been married twice. His first marriage was to Lyudmila Antonova, with whom he had two children. His second marriage was to Tatyana Antonova, with whom he had one child.
