Vytautas Sapranauskas

Later he was a TV host and a jury member of a number of TV shows, such as Lithuania's Got Talent, X Faktorius, and Clash of the Choirs. He appeared in the film Redirected, a Lithuanian-British gangster action-comedy film. The film features four friends turned first–time robbers who get stranded in Eastern Europe and have to find their way back home. The film premiered in Lithuania on 10 January 2014 and was released in the United Kingdom on 13 November 2014. The film was dedicated to Vytautas Šapranauskas.

Apart from that he was also touring with his standing comedy project ''Humor Club'' (''Humoro klubas''), dubbed lots of animated movies to Lithuanian language, such as ''Ratatouille (2007), ''Ice Age III'', ''Garfield'', ''Racing Stripes''(2005) and many others. He was also the face of men's fashion brand Pierre Cardin in Lithuania.

Until 1990 he was affiliated with the Russian Drama Theatre.

Since 1990 he was with the Vilnius Small Theatre. And then - with Domino theater in Vilnius. He acted in a number of films and theater plays, both during the Soviet times and in independent Lithuania.

Vitautas graduated form the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 1980.

Vytautas Sapranauskas (April 19, 1958 - April 18, 2013), was a Lithuanian comedian. comedy and drama actor of theater and cinema, and a TV host and presenter. He was one of the most talented and well known Lithuanian actors and TV faces.

He committed suicide just before his 55th birthday. Before committing suicide he texted several friends about his intentions, but nobody believed him, knowing him as a comedian.
