Vojislav Kostunica is a Serbian politician who served as the President of Serbia from 2000 to 2003 and Prime Minister of Serbia from 2004 to 2008. He is a member of the Democratic Party of Serbia. Kostunica was born on 24 March 1944 in Belgrade, Serbia. He studied law at the University of Belgrade and graduated in 1967. He then went on to pursue a doctorate in law at the same university, which he completed in 1974. Kostunica began his political career in the late 1970s, when he joined the Democratic Party of Serbia. He was elected to the Serbian Parliament in 1990 and served as the Minister of Justice from 1992 to 1993. In 2000, he was elected President of Serbia and served until 2003. In 2004, he was elected Prime Minister of Serbia and served until 2008. Kostunica is married to Milica Kostunica and has two children. He is 77 years old.
