Troy Evans

Appeared in the pilot episode of ER (1994) as Officer Frank Martin. He returned years later as a replacement for Jerry the desk clerk. Frank often talks about his police career to the doctors.

Has played a member of law enforcement three times, the first two of which had the word "Man" as the final word of the title: The Lawnmower Man (1992), Demolition Man (1993), and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998). Four times, at least, as he also appeared as the state trooper who pulls over Steve Martin's bus in Leap of Faith (1992).

Appeared in the pilot episode of David Lynch's bizarre Twin Peaks (1990) as the school principal, Principal George Wolchezk, but he doesn't appear in any other episodes.

Has co-starred in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers(1989) alongside Don Shanks who played Michael Myers. Don Shanks and Troy were both of Jim Carrey's co-stars. Don Shanks was a stunt performer in Dumb and Dumber(1994) and Troy was Roger Podactor in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective(1994). Troy also co-starred alongside Jeff Daniels in My Favorite Martian(1999), who played Harry Dunne in Dumb and Dumber alongside Jim Carrey.

Troy Evans served with the 25th Infantry Division (2/22 mechanized) in Vietnam, 1968 and 1969.
