Thierry de La Tour d'Artaise is a French businessman who has been the Chairman and CEO of the French luxury goods company LVMH since 1989. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the LVMH Group. Born in Lyon, France, Thierry de La Tour d'Artaise graduated from the École Polytechnique in Paris and the École Nationale d'Administration. He began his career in the French Ministry of Finance in 1978, and in 1981 he joined the LVMH Group. In 1989, Thierry de La Tour d'Artaise was appointed Chairman and CEO of the LVMH Group, and he has held this position ever since. Under his leadership, the LVMH Group has become one of the world's leading luxury goods companies, with a portfolio of over 70 brands. Thierry de La Tour d'Artaise is also a member of the Board of Directors of the French luxury goods company Hermès International, and he is a member of the Board of Directors of the French bank BNP Paribas. As of 2021, Thierry de La Tour d'Artaise's net worth is estimated to be roughly $2.5 billion.
