Steve Price is an Australian radio broadcaster, journalist and television personality. He was born on 13 January 1955 in Adelaide, South Australia. He is best known for his work on the ABC's The Drum, Sky News Australia's The Bolt Report and 2GB's Steve Price Show. Price attended the University of Adelaide, where he studied law and economics. He began his career in journalism in the late 1970s, working as a reporter for the ABC in Adelaide. He then moved to Sydney in the early 1980s, where he worked as a reporter and presenter for the ABC's 7.30 Report. In the late 1990s, Price began working as a talkback radio host on 2GB in Sydney. He has since become one of the most popular and influential talkback radio hosts in Australia. He is also a regular guest on Sky News Australia's The Bolt Report and a regular panelist on the ABC's The Drum. Price is also a regular guest on the ABC's Q&A program and has appeared on a number of other television programs, including Sunrise, Today, The Project and The 7.30 Report.
