Anand then directed Yash Raj Films's War starring Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor released on 2 October 2019.

Anand will next be directing and producing Rambo, a Bollywood remake of Sylvester Stallone's Rambo, which will begin filming towards the end of 2019. He will also do an action thriller film with Shah Rukh Khan and will be produced by Yash Raj Films.

2014

Anand's fifth film Bang Bang!, an official adaptation of Knight and Day, starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif was released on 2 October 2014 and was a worldwide hit. The film's overseas collections is the highest ever for a Hrithik Roshan film.

2010

His fourth film Anjaana Anjaani, starred Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles, and was produced by Sajid Nadiawala. It was released worldwide on 1 October 2010, after a one-week delay. The film was a box office success.

Anand's second venture, Ta Ra Rum Pum was released in April 2007. The film stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji and was a semi hit at the box office. (2014) and War (2019), both of which rank among the highest-grossing Indian films. His work in the latter garnered Anand a Filmfare Award for Best Director nomination.
