Sakis Tanimanidis is a Greek professional basketball player who currently plays for the Greek club Aris Thessaloniki. He is a 6'7" (2.01 m) tall small forward-power forward. Tanimanidis began his professional career in 1999 with the Greek club Aris Thessaloniki. He has since played for several other Greek clubs, including Panionios, AEK Athens, and Panathinaikos. He has also played in the EuroLeague with Panathinaikos and AEK Athens. Tanimanidis has won several Greek League championships, including two with Panathinaikos in 2004 and 2005, and one with AEK Athens in 2007. He has also won the Greek Cup with AEK Athens in 2007. Tanimanidis has also represented the Greek national team at the EuroBasket in 2003, 2005, and 2007. He was also part of the Greek team that won the gold medal at the 2005 Mediterranean Games.

Sakis Tanimanidis (Greek: Σάκης Τανιμανίδης ; born 30 April 1981) is a Greek TV host, producer and entrepreneur. Tanimanidis became known in his native country as the host, creator, producer and director of the travel show World Party that aired on Alpha TV from 2014 to 2016. In 2017, he became a household name as the Greek host and co-producer of Survivor 2017(the adaptation of the international franchise for the Turkish and Greek television). He is also the owner of two restaurants and one travel agency in Greece.

Tanimanidis was born in Santorini, Greece on 30 April 1981. He showed an early interest in showbusiness: While still an engineer student in the state university of Thessaloniki, Tanimanidis co-hosted the TV show Asteria kai Labara on TV 100 before moving to Boston for a 2-year MBA in Babson College.
