Richard Hilton is an American businessman and real estate investor. He is the chairman and co-founder of Hilton & Hyland, a real estate brokerage firm in Beverly Hills, California. He is also the father of socialite Paris Hilton. Hilton was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Marilyn June (née Hawley) and Barron Hilton, the founder of the Hilton Hotels chain. He has two siblings, William Barron Hilton Jr. and Hawley Anne Hilton. Hilton attended the University of Denver, where he earned a degree in hotel and restaurant management. After college, he worked for his father's company, Hilton Hotels, for several years before leaving to pursue a career in real estate. In 1982, Hilton co-founded the real estate brokerage firm Hilton & Hyland with Jeff Hyland. The firm specializes in luxury real estate in the Los Angeles area. Hilton has been married twice. His first marriage was to Kathy Avanzino in 1979. They had two children, Paris and Nicky Hilton, before divorcing in 1988. He then married real estate agent and former model, Kathy Richards, in 1991. They have three children, Barron, Conrad, and Hilton. As of 2021, Richard Hilton's net worth is estimated to be $300 million.
