He is the son of Robert Lee Parton Sr. and Avie Lee Parton. He has seven siblings, including Dolly Parton. He attended Sevier County High School and later attended the University of Tennessee. Randy Parton began his music career in the early 1970s, performing in local clubs and bars. He released his debut album, Randy Parton, in 1975. He has since released several albums and singles, including "I'm Gonna Love You," "I'm Gonna Make You Mine," and "I'm Gonna Be a Star." In addition to his music career, Randy Parton has also acted in several films and television shows. He has appeared in the films The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public, and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas: The Movie. He has also appeared in the television shows The Dukes of Hazzard, The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning, and The Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee. Randy Parton is also the founder and CEO of Randy Parton Entertainment, a company that produces live entertainment shows.
