Ramfis would return to Sundance in 2018 with "A Boy, A Girl, and A Dream", which placed among the top 18 films for the entire festival, garnering sufficient notoriety for acquisition by Samuel Goldwyn Films for a Fall theatrical release.

His continued growth and success in the film industry earned him a spot in Stars' 2018 40 Under 40 list of Movers and Shakers.

In his desire to assist and educate the next generation of filmmakers, Ramfis has participated as a judge for the 2018 BAFTA Student Film Awards as well as a mentor for the Arts, Entertainment & Media Academy Field Day at John Muir High School in Pasadena, CA. Ramfis' volunteerism includes participation with Mythic Bridge, The "I Can Still Do That" Foundation, Teach for America, Schools That Can, Hofstra University's Youth Film Day, Blacks on Wall StreetRamfis is an active member of BAFTA NY, The Friars Club, Hollywood Radio & Television Society (HRTS), Toastmasters International - SEC Roughriders, The Long Island Film and TV Foundation.

2017

His successes in the festival circuit also include selling out the opening night of The SOHO International Film Festival 2017 with "The Broken Ones," currently set for domestic, Chinese, and South African distribution. His previous film, "Good Business," allowed him to work with Academy Award winner Mercedes Ruehl and went on to win Best Comedy at The Long Beach International and Manhattan Film Festivals. It has since been picked up by Shorts International. Ramfis' company, BOTEP, produced "Bridge and Tunnel", which played at over 40 film festivals, earning a dozen awards and over thirty nominations. It would continue on to a limited theatrical run before being acquired by Amazon.

2013

Ramfis also produced "Powerless" (2013), a short, highly personal Hurricane Sandy documentary as part of a campaign for hurricane relief in Long Beach NY. The documentary earned a special Proclamation from the city of Long Beach. Ramfis' passion for film is matched only by his passion to give back and pay it forward to his community by sharing and teaching his skills and knowledge to the next generation of students, artists, and creators.

Ramfis Myrthil is a New York-based filmmaker who loves telling New York stories. Applying a city-grown work ethic to the world of film and media, Ramfis works to produce narrative features that reflect the best, most captivating parts of his community: passion, integrity, and honor. A founding partner and co-President of Beast of the East Productions (BOTEP), Ramfis has built a career as a producer with many highlights. His proudest achievements to date are producing "Any Other Way," the very first music video for the legendary rock group, The Zombies, working on the Mary Pickford biopic "Why Not Choose Love: A Mary Pickford Manifesto"; and premiering his short film, "Love and The Small Print," at the 2012 65th Annual Cannes Film festival, where it was picked up by Shorts International for worldwide distribution.

His acumen for filmmaking is a proven product, and his insight has been sought out as a juror for the Kew Gardens Festival of Cinema and as a moderator for a panel on breaking into Hollywood at the 10th annual Bushwick Film Festival.
