He was best known for his roles in the films "Der Student von Prag" (1913), "Der Golem" (1920), and "Der Schatz" (1923). Bildt began his career in the theater, performing in various productions in Berlin. He made his film debut in 1913 in the film "Der Student von Prag". He went on to appear in over 40 films throughout his career. Bildt was married to actress Gertrud de Lalsky, with whom he had two children. He died on 28 April, 1945 in Berlin, Germany. At the time of his death, Bildt had an estimated net worth of $1 million. He earned most of his wealth from his acting career.
