Nancy Allen is an American actress best known for her roles in the films Carrie (1976), Dressed to Kill (1980), and Robocop (1987). She has also appeared in television series such as The Equalizer, Law & Order, and The Outer Limits. Nancy Allen was born on June 24, 1950 in The Bronx, New York. She attended the High School of Performing Arts in New York City and later studied acting at the Herbert Berghof Studio. Nancy Allen made her film debut in the 1976 horror classic Carrie, playing the role of Chris Hargensen. She went on to appear in a number of other films, including Dressed to Kill (1980), Blow Out (1981), and Robocop (1987). Nancy Allen has been married twice. Her first marriage was to actor Brian De Palma, with whom she had two children. Her second marriage was to actor John Travolta, with whom she had one child.
