Cherry III to direct and co-produce a documentary based on the Ernest franchise (Ernest Goes to Camp, Ernest Saves Christmas, Ernest Scared Stupid) Cherry was going to be a producer and interviewed for the project but due to scheduling issues with the upcoming "Son of Ernest" project and the releasing of his book "Keeper of the Clown My Life with Ernest!" the Doc was put on hold, some Pre-production work was done.

He shot additional footage for God Take, God Give (2010). The documentary was about Staff Sgt. John A. Thorburn, Vietnam vet, and father of underground rap icon R.A. the Rugged Man . Fisher met Rugged Man while shooting Hip Hop shows and joined the project. The project faded shortly after the tragic passing of John A. Thorburn.
