Katrine Lunde is a Norwegian handball player who currently plays for the Győri Audi ETO KC in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság I. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, having won gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics. She has also won two World Championships, in 2011 and 2015, and two European Championships, in 2010 and 2014. Lunde was born on 30 March 1980 in Kristiansand, Norway. She began her handball career at the age of 14, playing for the local club, Kristiansand IF. She then moved to the Danish club, Viborg HK, in 2000, where she played for four years. In 2004, she moved to the Hungarian club, Győri Audi ETO KC, where she has been playing ever since. Lunde is married to fellow handball player, Magnus Jondal, and they have two children together. She is 1.83 m (6 ft) tall and weighs 73 kg (161 lbs).

She started her club career in Hånes, and later played for Kristiansand, Våg and Aalborg DH. She won the Champions League with Viborg in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, she signed with Hungarian club Győri Audi ETO KC. In 2015, she signed with Russian club Rostov-Don. After two years spent in Russia she returned to Norway. Her contract with Vipers Kristiansand is valid until 2020.

Lunde was again named goalkeeper of the All-Star Team in the 2008 European Championship and ranked second on the Top Goalkeepers list with a 47% save rate.

Lunde made her debut on the Norwegian national team in 2002. She is a four-time European champion (2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010). She is World champion from 2011, received a silver medal at the 2007 World Women's Handball Championship, and a bronze medal at the 2009 World Championship. In August 2008, together with her twin sister, she won the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She was selected into the tournament's All-Star Team, and was also overall top goalkeeper with a 42% save rate.
