Kathryn Thomas is an Irish television presenter, radio presenter, and businesswoman. She is best known for presenting the RTÉ series Operation Transformation, and for hosting the Rose of Tralee. She is also the founder of Pure Results Bootcamp, a fitness and wellness retreat. Thomas was born on 20 January 1979 in Carlow, Ireland. She attended St Leo's College in Carlow and later studied at the National College of Ireland. Thomas began her career in television in 2002, when she was a contestant on the RTÉ series Fáilte Towers. She then went on to present the RTÉ series Operation Transformation from 2008 to 2020. She has also presented the Rose of Tralee since 2015. In addition to her television work, Thomas is also a radio presenter. She has presented the RTÉ 2fm show The Full Irish since 2018. In 2017, Thomas announced through Instagram that she and McLoughlin were expecting their first child together. In March 2018, Thomas had her first daughter, Ellie McLoughlin .

Thomas revealed in 2015 that a series of shooting stars inked on the inside of her lower left arm were not tattoos but were in fact transfers.

In April 2015 Thomas set up Pure Results Bootcamp, a seven-day diet and exercise camp operating out of Inish Beg Island, a private Island Estate in West Cork, Ireland.
