Jeffrey Hartgraves

As freelance producer his most recent work with Synoptics Research LLC, is a winner in the International Medical Multi Media Awards, in the category of "Coping", which will be presented in New York City on November 2nd, 2006.

Jeffrey Hartgraves lives in San Francisco. His work in the creative arts spans nearly two decades and includes professional writing, direction and performance in local theatre, corporate video and live events and independent film from time to time. His plays have been produced in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Phoenix, Arizona. He has directed several mainstage productions for Theatre Rhinoceros, which he feels is his theatre "home. "Among many roles performed over the years, Hartgraves had the honor to star as "Guy Burgess" in the American debut of Alan Bennett's two-act, Single Spies. The evening consisted of the one-act, An Englishman Abroad and the tandem U. S. debut of A Question Of Attribution, which he directed. He was twice Guest Artist in Residence with The Alchemy Project and a recipient of a John Goodman Award for Outstanding Direction for A Beautiful Man which also won Best Of Fringe and Best Comedic Play - San Francisco Fringe Festival, 2003. Most recently he received critical acclaim for his collaboration with San Francisco icon, Veronica Klaus as co-writer and director of Family Jewels: The Making of Veronica Klaus, which enjoyed two successful runs in San Francisco at both The Exit Theatre and Theatre Rhinoceros. He hopes to stage a full production of his solo show Shark Bytes, sometime in the coming year.
